Maria
My interests are all over the place; everything from food, art, science, architecture, history and cultures. Our world is integral, and it's fun to see how and why things are connected. As a person, I am very curious, which is both positive and negative - and must constantly be balanced. Much of my driving force for the founding of Ayo Oslo is learning from the past in order to add something positive in the future. I believe that by raising the standards; Ayo Oslo quality staples can contribute to smart consumption, which again will impact the world positively.

5 quick questions!
What motivates you to get out of bed in the morning?
Another day, another opportunity to reach what I believe.
Which day of the week is your favourite?
Sunday = Funday = Snoozeday
Living or passed, who would you like to eat dinner with?
Leonardo Da Vinci. A dinner with Da Vinci can not possibly go wrong: a creator, artist, innovator, sculptor, engineer, painter, strategist and mostly self-taught. Da Vinci is a genius! But I do not know if he has any humor, and this is important to me - so I think a dinner with a living person where I would laugh myself to death might be with Otto Jespersen.
What do you keep in your nightstand?
I have a glass of water and another empty glass - just in case I might want to, or not want to have a sip of water in the middle of the night!

Along with her is Mari and Kristine. As student they've specialised in digital marketing and graphic design. Mari lives in Bergen and Kristine in Oslo. Home office and zoom meetings have made it possible for us to expand our horizons and establish a fantastic team that can work together across the country.

I am interested in fashion and interior design. At the same time, I have a background in renewable energy. Today's use-and-throw society cannot continue if we want to put an end to climate change. Making clothing production more friendly to our planet is a step in the right direction. Ayo Oslo can emerge as a good example of an open supply chain with sustainable and ethical production. This is something I want to help convey.
Either or
Coffee or tea?
Tea. I have never learned to enjoy coffee, but I love the smell of it.
Dogs or cats?
Dogs. I live with the cutest poodle in the world.
Cottage or boat?
This is a hard one. I love to stay at the cottage, but I spend every sunny day during summer at our boat. So I think I have to say boat.
Beach or city?
This is even harder. Even though I am a city girl, I can’t think of anything more magical than to spend the whole day on an empty beach with a good book. But I can get restless and I need the tempo and action there is in the city. So I have to say city
Wine or beer?
Wine.
5 quick questions!
What motivates you to get out of bed in the morning?
Usually the chores of the day. I have to admit that I don’t have a very mindful approach to that question - when the alarm goes off I pull myself out of bed and start the day.
Which day of the week is your favourite?
Definitely Friday. Then you can go home and relax with a clear conscience after working a whole week
Living or passed, who would you like to eat dinner with?
I have been so fortunate to have all of my grandparents present for most of my life. However, almost three years ago my grandfather passed. So I would like to eat dinner with him again. And preferably eat his meatballs, they were amazing!
What do you keep in your nightstand?
I actually don’t have a nightstand. But I always keep a water bottle and a lip balm in the window frame next to my bed.

I'm the one in the group with a bad sense of humor and always a smile on my face. I never say no to a challenge. As a designer, I have a unique eye for color combinations and how things fit together. By combining this with digital marketing, I manage to see the loose ends to make a brand even better.
Either or
Coffee or tea?
It has to be coffee! Love the taste and the smell, there is no way better way to start the day.
Dogs or cats?
Dogs, I have always had a dog (three labradors growing up). Dogs have so many beautiful ways to say I love you, and we should learn from dogs.
Cottage or boat?
I have to choose cottage. Nothing is like sitting inside with good friends - summer or winter - playing games, cooking good food and having something good to drink and forgetting all about time and place. This is where the real stories and memories take root.
Beach or city?
City, no doubt. I love cities and how they are built up of history, culture, people and everything they have to offer within these categories.
Wine og beer?
This is perhaps the most difficult one, I like both equally! But beer is always my go to when I'm out. Unless I enjoy a multi-course dinner with a custom wine package.
5 quick questions!
What motivates you to get out of bed in the morning?
What this day can give, new things to experience. And coffee!
Which day of the week is your favourite?
Monday! This day makes me extra motivated to do things a little better.
Living or passed, who would you like to eat dinner with?
The last book I listened to was "Hyttebok fra helvete" by Are Kalvø. I see myself in what he writes, and I have always found Are Kalvø as a hysterically funny guy. I think we could have had a lot of fun at dinner together.
What do you keep in your nightstand?
I have no bedside drawer, but on the bedside table I have a book I will never finish, an alarm clock with wake-up light, hand cream and my Nintendo switch.
